Cutting the ribbon on the Best Restaurants on the Plains
Auburn Restaurants is not a brick-and-mortar business. It is an internet business with two tech products: AuburnRestaurants.com + Auburn Restaurants App. Here foodies find the Best Restaurants on the Plains, along with their current menus, tempting food photos, and latest happenings.
We do however have 10 stones that started the foundation of our business. These 10 forward thinking Founding Members: 1856 Culinary Residence, Ariccia Cucina Italiano, Hey Day Market, La Cubanita, Pizzeria Ariccia, PONKO Chicken, Rooftop Lounge at The Laurel Hotel & Spa, Saint Bernardo Gelateria, Taco Mama, and Vintage 2298.
On December 1, 2022, Auburn Chamber of Commerce graciously hosted AuburnRestaurants.com + App for its Grand Launch Ribbon Cutting at the Chamber Offices. Guests included Auburn City officials, Chamber staff and board, foodie followers, restaurateurs, and Auburn Restaurants Partners, Jan Walsh and Ada Ruth Huntley. Representing our 10 early adopter restaurants, we cut the tie on the orange and blue ribbon, symbolizing a new era for restaurants in Auburn. In December we will feature Auburn Restaurant Members that are also Auburn Chamber Members. And we encourage other Chamber Member Restaurants to join us with a special, limited time offer: Auburn Chamber Members Package. After the ribbon cutting ceremony, everyone warmed up inside with celebratory fare of warm PONKO Chicken and Fries.
An after party private lunch was held at Vintage 2298, where Owner, Chef Randall Baldwin cooked an 11-course lunch. And guest Master Sommelier, from 1856 Culinary Residence, Thomas Price paired wines. Back story, course, by course, is coming soon!
